Siphokazi, professionally known as Sakhe the Conqueror, is a Cape Town-born artist whose musical journey is deeply rooted in heritage, spirituality, healing, and the power of the human soul.

Born in Cape Town and raised in Gqeberha (formerly Port Elizabeth), Siphokazi was raised by her grandmother and grandfather in a home filled with music. Her grandmother was a gifted and powerful singer whose voice became one of the earliest inspirations in her life. Growing up alongside her sisters, music was not simply something they listened to — it was something they lived.

Her journey began in the home, singing with her family, and later developed through a cappella groups and school choirs. These experiences shaped her voice, introduced her to performance, and planted the foundation for what would eventually become her professional career.
